Next week (3/14/10) we will take up the Catholic Relief Services Collection. This collection not only provides for our marginalized, impoverished, and vulnerable brothers and sisters all over the world it does much more. This collection gives hope to Jesus in disguise. The devastating aftermath of Haiti’s earthquake has left thousands of children separated from their families. They are left vulnerable to human traffickers. USCCB Migration and Refugee Services is assisting with screening and tracing to facilitate family reunification where possible and is determining how best to meet the needs of children who are alone. Through care for the children of Haiti hope is given to Jesus in disguise.
