What is WATCH? WATCH is an opportunity to experience God’s love and healing power for you and others through a mutually shared experience of love and support.
Who should attend? Anyone who wishes to have a deeper relationship with God and a greater love for others and oneself. WATCH is ecumenical (promoting worldwide Christian unity), all are welcome.
Why is WATCH so special? WATCH is special because it is time set apart to participate in various activities which focus on the sacraments, your relationship with God, yourself and others as a Christian community. This time also offers us the opportunity to escape from our hectic schedules to relax, have fun and spend time in prayer and reflection. Meals are provided and participants go home at the end of each day. This is a co-ed weekend and couples are encouraged to attend.
What should you expect on a WATCH weekend? During the weekend, a series of talks are given by lay persons and clergy that are directed toward individual renewal. There will be time set aside for community discussion, meditation and private reflection with many ideas and tools presented to encourage new experiences. In this stress free atmosphere, there are also fun-filled activities, free time and time for making new friends if you like.
